Each year, the Thai New Year celebration, Songkran, is Bangkok’s biggest festival and celebration.
In 2022, the festival will take place from Wednesday, April 13, to Friday, April 15.
In Bangkok, as usual, Silom, Khaosan Road, Central World, Siam, and other famous places in the city will become the scene of massive water fights.
So to make the most of the world-famous water festival, here’s a list of all the water fights, festivals, and pool parties you should attend during Songkran.
The Main Events During Songkran
Each year, Bangkok hosts a bunch of massive music festivals during Songkran.
The biggest festivals are S20 Songkran and Siam Songkran, both bringing some of the best international DJs to the Venice of the east.
The PIMP Wet & Wild Songkran Festival
The PIMP Bangkok is again bringing over 300 Thai bikini models for a wild pool party.
Expect to see the country’s best live bands, DJs, and the club’s world class erotic shows.
This year things are a bit different, no foam party, but instead a crazy bikini contest where you get to vote for your favorite bikini model.
For those who don’t feel like getting wet, the club has a dry zone with no water fights.
And as always, you can get a VIP room for you and up to 100 friends, plus as many party girls as you want.
